Trump, Biden Clinch Respective Party Nominations
Update 11:16 p.m.: Shortly after 11 p.m. Eastern, Donald Trump clinched the GOP nomination after winning the Washington State primary.

Trump began the night with 1,077 delegates and gained additional delegates after winning nominating contests in Georgia, Mississippi, Hawaii, and Washington. The former president now has 1,223 delegates — eight more than the threshold for winning the nomination.
