NFL Bans 2A Commercial for Superbowl

It seems the Super Bowl has fallen victim to political correctness. They’ve decided to ban a pro-Second Amendment – and pro-veteran – Super Bowl ad by Daniel Defense, a company that sells guns, detailing a father who declares that he will protect his family. “No one has the right to tell me how to defend them," he says.

The banning promoted this epic response from Colion Noir, a football fan, attorney - and NRA News commentator - who destroys the NFL for their hypocrisy.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police are looking for a man and a woman suspected of taking turkeys, peanut butter, tuna and other items from a church food pantry in Manchester.

Police said a Blessed Sacrament Church worker on Monday noticed an air conditioner unit pushed in, allowing access to the pantry. She pushed it back in. About an hour later, she saw a couple outside apparently trying to push in the unit. They were scared off, but the worker saw items were missing from the pantry, including 11 turkeys, 100 cans of tuna, 200 jars of peanut butter, frozen meat and candy and cookies.

The couple is described as a white male and female between 50 and 60. He was wearing jeans and a black leather jacket. She was wearing a long pink coat.

Beulah Montgomery, had just turned 60 the day before, when she was approached by 7 young punks playing Knock Out. One of them hit her and a second was attempting to hit her, so she reached for her gun. She fired 5 times and two of the young men fell down dead. One was hit in the stomach and one in the chest. The other five ran off after finding out their elderly victim was less than helpless. Montgomery had been mugged before and started carrying a gun for protection. The move paid off.

The 56 TBIRD was the second edition in this first series of Fords Thunderbird model line. Adrienne notes "The 57 was an abomination with those ugly fins and the back end of the 55 was too short when the top was on. Only the 56 was perfect in every way."

What makes it special: It was a return salvo, created by the Ford Motor company to give competition to Chevrolet's Corvette. It was also the first mass-produced edition of all the Ford Thunderbird models.

What made it famous: It was Ford's two-seater sports car with a removable fiberglass top. For 1956, it offered more power with it's new 215 hp, 312 cu in V8 (with optional stick-overdrive), or 225 hp (with self-shift Fordomatic), enabling the T-Bird to reach speeds of 110-120 mph.

November 22nd 1963 Fifty Years Ago

There's so much coverage of the 50th Anniversary of JFK's assassination on the tube and in the blogs. I was 4 years old at the time standing in the livingroom of my Grandmothers home. We watched it happen on an old black and white TV set. I remember my parents and grandparents were crying. That's all. I wouldn't know or understand what was going on till much later.

Honestly, I believe women should not be considered at all for combat roles. Three women have already completed Marine infantry training and will graduate today. I have no idea if these women are pretty or not so pretty or if they wear makeup. It doesn't matter. They have completed the course and have been found competent. These women will not be assigned to infantry units. Thank you in Advance for that. Women do not belong in combat units having been qualified or not.
Army Col. Lynette Arnhart, who leads the team of analysts considering what combat roles to open to women, sent an email indicating that images of “nice looking” female soldiers could undermine their communication strategy, Politico reported, after obtaining a copy of the email.

“In general, ugly women are perceived as competent while pretty women are perceived as having used their looks to get ahead,” Arnhart wrote.

The colonel included an attachment of an article that recently ran in Army Magazine. The woman photographed was shown wearing makeup on a deployment. She said some might question whether the woman in the photo could hack it in the warzone.

“Such photos undermine the rest of the message (and may even make people ask if breaking a nail is considered hazardous duty),” Arnhart wrote.

She suggested that using a photo of a female soldier with mud on her face “sends a much different message — one of women willing to do the dirty work necessary in order to get the job done,” Politico reported. But the photograph in question wasn’t one shot in a studio somewhere — it was a photo of an actual soldier, Cpl. Kristine Tejeda, with 3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, while she provided security in Iraq in 2011.

Still, her message was forwarded on by the chief of public affairs for the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command, or TRADOC, Politico reported. He forwarded it to all public affairs officers with the command.

“A valuable reminder from the TRADOC experts who are studying gender integration — when [public affairs officers] choose photos that glamorize women … we undermine our own efforts,” he wrote. “Please use ‘real’ photos that are typical, not exceptional.”

Marine Corps Times checked in with Marine Corps public affairs to see whether they’ve received similar guidance surrounding their Women in Service Review. Capt. Maureen Krebs, a Marine spokeswoman at the Pentagon, said the guidance they’re giving is to take a responsible, deliberate and measured approach as they conduct their review.

“There has been no public affairs guidance given regarding photos,” she said.

LUNENBURG — School Superintendent Loxi Jo Calmes announced Monday evening that all remaining games for the Lunenburg High School football team, including the popular Thanksgiving game Nov. 27 against St. Bernard’s High School in Fitchburg, have been forfeited following a racist hate crime targeting a young player.

The Lunenburg team is in the spotlight after racist graffiti was discovered Friday morning spray-painted on the residence of 13-year-old Lunenburg player Isaac A. Phillips, who alleges wrongdoing by teammates.

Calmes thanked the community for attending a vigil Sunday night and for supporting Isaac and his family, who were the targets of an “act of hate.” The district will continue to make its resources available to assist the Phillips family, Calmes said at a press conference at the public safety complex.

She also confirmed an investigation into allegations related to racial slurs by Lunenburg players directed toward Worcester South High Community School football players a few weeks ago.


Now For The Not So Obvious.

Media and race baiting government officials have ignored reports of black mob violence called the Knockout Game for quite some time. Many of the recent media reports exclude the facts in that victims of this vicious game are primarily white although Asians are OK too.

Typically a group of disenfranchised inner city black youths come upon a victim on the street while one of the group prepare to take video of the encounter using his handy Iphone video app. The object of this activity is to see if the participating black yoot is strong enough to knock out the victim with one punch to the head. Police usually call this criminal activity simple assault.

Here are some examples of the game as it is played.

In Hoboken, three black people punched a homeless person in September. He died. Not too much different from an earlier episode in Syracuse, where a black mob killed Michael Daniels in May.

In August in Lansing, several black people tried to play the Knockout Game with a twist: They used a taser. It misfired. The victim’s gun did not. He wounded his attacker but stopped firing after the Knockout Artist begged for mercy.

In January, several members of the University of Alabama national championship football team attacked two students in what many call the Knockout Game.

At the University of Illinois in Champaign, the game has a different name: Polar Bear Hunting. But with dozens of examples, including a local TV reporter, the black mobs play by the same rules: Find a defenseless white or Asian person, and punch them in the face until your arms are tired. Or they are knocked out. Or dead.

In St. Cloud, Minn., a car full of black people came upon a college student in an alley walking two girls home from the library. The car screeched to a stop, one man got out and hit 20-year old Colton Gleason in the face. He died. His attacker was convicted earlier this year after the jury rejected his defense that Colton and the two female college students he was walking home actually hit their car.

In March of this year, six black people were convicted in the stabbing death of Matthew Chew in New London, Conn. The headline tells the story: 25-year-old victim loses Knockout Game.

In Pittsburgh last year, several black people were caught on video punching a teacher in the face as they passed each other in an alley. That happened twice: Earlier that year, another teacher was almost killed as he slipped and fell in traffic while fleeing the Knockout Game, on video.

Last year in Meriden, Conn., DeAndre Felton and his 10 of his friends thought they found an easy mark for a bit of the old Knockout Game. They chose the wrong guy: He pulled a knife and killed DeAndre and wounded one other attacker. The attackers’ parents said their children were innocent, just like Trayvon Martin in Florida.

In St. Louis earlier this year, a black person was sentenced to life for the Knockout Game death of a 72-year old Vietnamese immigrant.

In St. Louis alone, a judge said one person was responsible for 300 episodes of the Knockout Game.

In Oklahoma earlier this year, an accused killer of the Australian college student Chris Lane tweeted that he was “playing golf” and hitting “woods” prior to the murder earlier this month. Woods is short for “peckerwoods:” White people. The Knockout Game.

He said he did that five times since the acquittal of George Zimmerman for the death of Trayvon Martin.

Son Gus Deeds has died of a gun shot wound.
Virginia state Sen. R. Creigh Deeds, Bath Democrat, was stabbed in his home Tueday morning and his son Gus died from a gunshot wound, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported.

Mr. Deeds is in critical condition at the University of Virginia Medical Center and authorities are trying to determine the sequence of events, the paper reported. He ran unsuccessfully for governor of Virginia in 2009.

Four people found dead in Arlington home

A man, a woman, and two infants were found dead in an Arlington home this afternoon by a police officer who had been asked to check on their well-being.

The bodies were found after noon. The officer had been asked to perform the well-being check by a child caretaker, said Arlington Police Chief Frederick Ryan.

The cause of death is under investigation. Middlesex district attorney’s office investigators are on the way to the scene.

Interior alterations were just as minor and just as effective. There were repositioned armrests and door handles, a shelf added beneath the passenger grab bar for extra small-item stowage space, and reshaped seats that at least now offered token lateral support. Sunvisors were a newly added option, and concave instead of flat instrument lenses (to cut down on reflections) were added to the instrument panel; a T-handle lockout for the manual transmission was included to prevent a driver from accidentally engaging reverse gear.

Powertrain choices were again unchanged, but the 1959 featured a minor mechanical alteration of major benefit: the addition of rear-trailing radius rods that helped contribute to a slightly softer ride and noticeably less rear-end steering on irregular surfaces. The rods also helped counteract rear-axle windup, which was an unfortunate byproduct of a problem with the explosive torque produced by the most powerful engines, and the RPO 684 heavy-duty brakes/suspension option was given even stiffer springs -- all of which made for better handling.

Most Corvettes could shoot through the quarter-mile in under 15 seconds, and 0-60 mph times of less than eight seconds were typical. Road & Track clocked a 290-bhp fuelie engine from 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds and on to the quarter-mile mark in 14.5 seconds at 96 mph. Top speed was listed at 128 mph with the short 4.11:1 final drive

Veterans Day - A Short History

World War I - known at the time as "The Great War" - officially ended when the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919, in the Palace of Versailles outside the town of Versailles, France. However, fighting ceased seven months earlier when an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. For that reason, November 11, 1918, is generally regarded as the end of "the war to end all wars."

In November 1919, President Wilson proclaimed November 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day with the following words: "To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country's service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations..."

The original concept for the celebration was for a day observed with parades and public meetings and a brief suspension of business beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The United States Congress officially recognized the end of World War I when it passed a concurrent resolution on June 4, 1926, with these words:

"Whereas the 11th of November 1918, marked the cessation of the most destructive, sanguinary, and far reaching war in human annals and the resumption by the people of the United States of peaceful relations with other nations, which we hope may never again be severed, and

Whereas it is fitting that the recurring anniversary of this date should be commemorated with thanksgiving and prayer and exercises designed to perpetuate peace through good will and mutual understanding between nations; and

Whereas the legislatures of twenty-seven of our States have already declared November 11 to be a legal holiday: Therefore be it Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), that the President of the United States is requested to issue a proclamation calling upon the officials to display the flag of the United States on all Government buildings on November 11 and inviting the people of the United States to observe the day in schools and churches, or other suitable places, with appropriate ceremonies of friendly relations with all other peoples."

Community Heartbroken by Loss of Beloved Danvers HS Teacher

A Danvers Highschool Teacher was brutally murdered after school Tuesday afternoon. A student followed Math teacher Colleen Ritzer into a bathroom stall, attacked her with a boxcutter, killing her. This 14 year old student then transported the body to the woods behind the school in a wheeled recyle bin. Following the murder the student stopped by Liberty Tree Mall for a movie and a bite to eat at Wendy's.

Topsfield Police found the teen walking along Route 1 at 3 o’clock in the morning Wednesday when they realized this was the subject related earlier as a missing person from the Danvers area. The student was then transported to Danvers PD.

A boxcutter! When will people wake up and call for a worldwide ban on these evil weapons of death!!?? Not to make light of this poor young girl's death but this is what you Gun Control freaks sound like every time someone is killed or injured by an inanimate object. Had Miss Ritzer been armed, My guess is the result would have been different. Who knows though what this kid had in his head.

The perpetrator of this crime has been charged as an adult. There is a pic but no further info on this individual. I could say he looks like Obama's son. Danvers PD is taking the investigation slow. Remember, this is Massachusetts, anything at all could get the case tossed.

We survive as a people because we agree to live within an accepted code of behavior. When you display a complete lack of regard for your fellow man by committing murder you should be put to death, plain and simple. Why is this so hard for people to understand? When a murderer knows that he won't be killed where is his impetus not to?

Yeah ... This is Massachusetts and that won't ever happen.

The federal health care exchange at Heathcare.gov has accidentally enrolled thousands of applicants in the government's sex offender registry, the latest of many technical failures to hit the troubled site.

According to several senior officials, since the exchange went live on Oct. 1 around 40,000 individuals looking to buy insurance have instead been listed on the National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW), a searchable database of rapists, molesters and others convicted of sex crimes.

Proving Yet again that this Administration cannot be trusted with the time of day.

UPDATE: A commenter indicates the 2 or 3 Healthcare Navigators that may have been able to register at healthcare.gov have not actually been enrolled in the governments sex offender registry. Really, they have been entered in Publishers Clearing House 7 Grand a Week for Life Sweepstakes. That web site works pretty well.

Refs Win in Patriots - Jets Matchup

Via Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, Belichick said after the game that he “disagrees with the penalty for pushing,” and that “there wasn’t a push in the second level that would require a flag.”

Belichick was right. Jones was in fact on the line of scrimmage not in the second level. There was no pushing from the second level into the offensive line.
Belichick made his comments at his post game presser at around 5 o’clock. In the ensuing confusion, the NFL’s official site made an edit on a post about the rule that was first posted a month and a half ago:
Approx 1.5 hours later the rule is changed to match the circumstances of the referees call. Appears an update was made at 6:29 PM

And like magic, the part about players not on the line of scrimmage at the snap was mysteriously gone:
As a result of the refs call the Jets are awarded a new set of downs and another chance at a field goal closer in to the goal posts.

So, I'm standing at the corner in Memorial Square waiting to cross the street. This intersection has six points to enter or exit the square. It's not that complicated. You push the button wait for the drivers to finish turninig left off main and the walk light is illuminated for pedestrians to cross. The light had just turned green on Main for drivers to proceed forward or turn left.

Here comes Dofus McJazz right out of the cafe walking straight out into left turning traffic. I holler "LOOK OUT" He's nearly caused a pileup when the bmw guy slams on the brakes. Dofus McJazz says "I don't have to. This is Massachusetts".

Found Her

Missing 16-year-old girl found safe in Vermont
LANGDON, N.H. —New Hampshire State Police say a missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen Friday morning in front of Fall Mountain Regional High School in Langdon was found safe in Vermont.

Police say Alexandra Cuevas has been returned to her parents.

On Friday night, members of her family said they were concerned she may have met an online predator.

Surveillance video showed Alexandra Cuevas of Alstead getting into a car that left the school, police said.

Police said the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still under investigation.

Police said there is no connection to the missing girl in Conway.

Kicking the Can

House Passes Vote to Delay Obamacare For One Year


The House approved a spending bill early Sunday morning that would fund the government through Dec. 15, but tacked on amendments that would delay the federal health care law known as Obamacare for one year and repeal the medical device tax, a move that sets up a showdown with Senate Democrats and increases the probability of a government shutdown Tuesday.

The Obamacare delay amendment passed 231-192, and the vote on the medical device tax, which would help cover the costs of Obamacare, was 248-174. The House also unanimously passed a bill to fund the military in the event of a shutdown.

Congress must agree to a federal spending bill by Tuesday, or the federal government will partially close down until members can find a compromise solution.

Ok Facebook, I need to see if I can get this little story shared. About 2 weeks ago, myself and other Truck Drivers with the company I drive for had stopped at a Rest Area In Kansas. This Family with a young man dressed In Army Blues stopped at the Rest Area, a older couple, a lady about 30/40, and a little girl 5/6 and the young army man. After using the Rest Room, they left. One of our guys went into the Rest Room and found where the Young Man had taken his Army Ring Off to wash his hands and left it laying on the sink. We stayed at the Rest Area for about 30 minutes to see if maybe the family would realize that he had left it and came back to get it, but they never did. Would love for this guy to get his Ring back, so the more shares this story gets, maybe just maybe somebody some where might know this guy. MAYOR GRAY: SEQUESTER POSSIBLY CONTRIBUTED TO SHOOTING AT NAVY YARD

Washington, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray suggested Tuesday that the cost-cutting as a result of the sequester may have contributed to the conditions that allowed a shooter gain clearance to enter the Navy Yard Monday, where he killed 12 people and wounded several others.

The gunman, "Name Removed", entered the complex using a valid pass that he had been given as a defense contractor around 8:30 a.m. on Monday, according to police. He was ultimately killed in one of multiple engagements with police.

Speaking on CNN Tuesday morning about what might have prevented the shooting, Gray said, “It’s hard to know,” but “certainly, as I look at, for example, sequestration, which is about saving money in the federal government being spent, that we somehow skimped on what would be available for projects like this, and then we put people at risk. Obviously 12 people have paid the ultimate price for whatever — you know — whatever was done to have this man on the base.”

NEW YORK – Two police officers opened fired on a man who was acting erratically and dodging cars on a busy Manhattan street Saturday night, wounding two bystanders and sending people running for cover, authorities said.

Police said the man made movements suggesting he had a weapon, though he turned out to be unarmed. The officers' shots missed him, and he was eventually brought down by a stun gun.

Mass. high school ends powderpuff football game

NEWTON, Mass. (AP) — The principal at a suburban Boston high school has canceled the school's annual powderpuff football game, in which girls take the field to play flag football while boys cheer from the sidelines, saying it's sexist, divisive and dangerous.

The move at Newton South High sparked an immediate backlash from students, who call the game "a rite of passage."

The game between seniors and juniors is played the day before Thanksgiving, right after a pep rally for the boys' game the next day. Many Massachusetts high schools have similar traditions.

Newton South principal Joel Stembridge says the game has become so competitive that in recent years, girls have suffered concussions and broken bones.

Senior Lucy Holmes tells The Boston Globe ( ) the game is harmless fun and a celebration of women's sports.
