That's were I grew up. In the 60's we spent hours on that beach, building castles, riding waves, playing in the creek that was on one end. The water was frigid but we didn't care. The beach is huge at low tide.
The town used to have a tractor that had a huge sifting device on it. Every morning they would clean drive up and down the beach and clean the sand. I be that hasnt been done in 50 yrs due to budgets.
