Former Ukrainian Prosecutor Shokin reportedly files federal complaint, demands investigation of Joe Biden
via The Bongino Report
Former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin filed a complaint with Ukraine’s National Bureau of Investigation this week demanding that an investigation be launched against former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.

Confirmations of this filing have been obtained by the Russian news site RT, the left-wing American news site Talking Points Memo, the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency and an obscure French news site known Les Crises.

STILL NOT BANNED IN BOSTON: China flights still arriving at Logan International Airport as coronavirus fears grow.
via Ed Driscoll -- Instapundit
BOSTON, Mass. (WHDH) — A sick passenger was evaluated at Logan International Airport Wednesday afternoon after arriving from Beijing, China, emergency officials said.

The passenger refused transportation to the hospital and according to Boston EMS, they did not meet the criteria for coronavirus.

Originally, the Massachusetts Port Authority reported that that passenger was transported to a local hospital but that was not the case.

Hillary Clinton “Feels the Urge” to Run Against Trump Again - Matt Palumbo -- The Bongino Report
There’s still nine months to the election, but things aren’t looking great for the 2020 Democrats. In the hypothetical head-to-head polls President Trump trounces all his opponents, and the bookmaker’s odds favor his re-election.

It’s late now – but could another candidate enter the race with the ability to defeat Trump? One has reported thinking about entering – but we already know they don’t have the ability to defeat Trump.

As the New York Post reported: Nearly four years after President Trump defeated her in the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton said she has an “urge” to run again because she thinks she can win this time.

The former secretary of state was asked during an interview with Variety if she ever thought “I could beat Donald Trump if I were running.”

“Yeah. I certainly feel the urge because I feel the 2016 election was a really odd time and an odd outcome,” she told the magazine in an interview published online Monday.

“And the more we learn, the more that seems to be the case. But I’m going to support the people who are running now and do everything I can to help elect the Democratic nominee.”

Bolton's Book Leak Will Be the Latest 'BOMBSHELL!' Dud for the Dems

Possibly the Best Headline of the Day

Justice Neil Gorsuch Calls Activist Judges On Carpet
The Victory Girls via Sarah Hoyt -- Instapundit
The real problem here is the increasingly common practice of trial courts ordering relief that transcends the cases before them. Whether framed as injunctions of ‘nationwide,’ ‘universal,’ or ‘cosmic’ scope, these orders share the same basic flaw—they direct how the defendant must act toward persons who are not parties to the case,” Gorsuch wrote.

“Equitable remedies, like remedies in general, are meant to redress the injuries sustained by a particular plaintiff in a particular lawsuit. When a district court orders the government not to enforce a rule against the plaintiffs in the case before it, the court redresses the injury that gives rise to its jurisdiction in the first place. But when a court goes further than that, ordering the government to take (or not take) some action with respect to those who are strangers to the suit, it is hard to see how the court could still be acting in the judicial role of resolving cases and controversies. Injunctions like these thus raise serious questions about the scope of courts’ equitable powers under Article III,

President Trump's Biggest Pro-Life Move Yet

Possibly the Best Headline of the Day

There are several this morning

The Hidden Blessings of Plagues and Impeachment
- Rabbi Michael Barclay -- PJ Media
There is a tradition within Judaism that all actions in the world can be viewed through the lens of the Torah reading of the week. Based upon that premise, each of these columns is to help us understand the politics of the world through a biblical lens.

As the impeachment trial in the Senate began this week, the House managers and Democratic Senate leadership have already publicly demonstrated their partisan willingness to remove a duly-elected President by any means they can. On Tuesday, they dragged the rules approval resolution out for 13 hours, attempting to pass 11 unique amendments to the resolution (all were defeated)…just to get the rules for impeachment set up! Despite Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's request to save time and at least bundle the proposed amendments together, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer insisted on dragging out the process and making the Senators, and the American people, participate in what the Democrats always knew was a waste of time. But in doing so, they demonstrated clearly once again that the entire process of impeachment is not about seeking justice, but a manifestation of their vitriolic hatred for the president. The more they insisted on wasting time, the more they showed to the Senate, and to America, their true intentions, goals, and beliefs: to remove President Trump in a partisan way no matter what.

AND THE INFILTRATORS OR AGENTS PROVOCATEURS WERE CAUGHT OUT BEFORE THEY COULD START ANYTHING, I ASSUME. I MEAN I CAN’T IMAGINE THERE NOT BEING ANY: Rallying for the 2nd Amendment.

My sigh of relief was probably heard across America.

Well, over 22,000 people attended the rally. It was peaceful with no arrests. State of emergency, eh?

Imagine that. Over 22,0000 people with guns and not one shooting or crime. Hhhmmm..it’s almost as if these passionate gun supporters care about laws and other people, unlike criminals.

The supporters protested against new gun regulations by the Virginia legislation. This includes “universal background checks, a ban on military-style rifles and a bill that would allow authorities to temporarily take guns from people deemed dangerous to themselves or others.”

Also this ... Asked and Answered

THAT THEY JUST REALIZED IF THE DEMOCRAT CANDIDATES WERE HORSES, THE WHOLE LOT WOULD HAVE TO BE SHOT FOR INCURABLE AND PAINFUL LAMENESS? What the double endorsement at the New York Times tells us.

Virginia State Senator Warns Gun Owners About Upcoming Rally:
‘We Are Being Set Up’

via The Bongino Report

Understand that Dem Pols and the media want this event to escalate into some momentous shite show for the Virginia Citizens Defense League and the NRA. Use your disipline and recognize the "Set Up" as it develops.
Republican Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase issued a warning on Friday to the thousands of Second Amendment advocates who are planning to attend an upcoming massive pro-gun rally in Richmond, saying that they are “being set up.”

The Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) organized the event, which is being held on Monday, and “is traditionally known as ‘Lobby Day’ in Virginia’s capital,” WTOP reported. “Tens of thousands are expected to show up for the event Monday in Richmond. Given the contentious nature of the issue, the prospect of such a large event has raised tensions. Earlier, [Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph] Northam declared a state of emergency. And recent arrests have further raised those tensions.”

In a Facebook post, Chase wrote: “Sadly, I am posting this, knowing that the Governor of Virginia has declared a State of Emergency in our state. I want you to be aware of how we are being set up. Does the Patriot Act ring a bell? Does the National Defense Authorization Act ring a bell?”
