BOSTON - If you can't make it to the polls on election day, you'll have two weeks to vote early in Massachusetts.

The early voting period for the general election begins Monday, Oct. 22, and goes through Nov. 2. Voters who wish to do so may cast their ballots in advance of Election Day, which is on Nov. 6.

Each city and town has its own times and locations for early voting. Details are available through the Massachusetts Secretary of State's website or by contacting local city and town elections officials.
