Speaking of Ossipee, go to google maps satellite view and check out ossipee and pawtuckaway state park. Zoom in and out on both areas. Make sure it’s in satellite mode. What do you see?
Look West of Ossipee Lake and then NW of Pawtuckaway lake. Check out the geology.
I noticed the Pawtuckaway "one" a few years ago when I was looking up hiking trails with google maps. Then I did some research about geology in NH and it listed the Ossipee "one". "One" is defining what you are looking for :)

Google NH volcanoes. Both sites are ancient volcanoes. Just a near fact imho.
