'Baby Doe' Identified as Boston Girl

BOSTON'S "BABY DOE" IDENTIFIED

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE (12 p.m.): A source tells FOX25 that the body of a young girl found on Deer Island has been identified following a tip to the Boston Police Homicide Unit. A source also tells FOX25 that investigators are questioning a woman believed to be the girl's mother.

A search warrant was issued for an apartment on Maxwell Street in Dorchester Thursday night. Neighbors told FOX25 that police were at the apartment Thursday evening serving a search warrant. Neighbors identified the woman who lives in the apartment as Rachelle Bond. FOX25 has also learned from a source that she is the mother of a young girl named Bella. Neighbors told FOX25 that Bella has not been seen in months.

BOSTON (CBS) — For some reason or another, ESPN decided to run a nearly 11,000-word story on Tuesday about Spygate.

Yes. Spygate. From 2007. Here, in 2015.

The timing is certainly questionable, and given that ESPN was recently forced to apologize to the Patriots for sharing a false report numerous times in recent months, and given that a false report by ESPN’s Chris Mortensen regarding the PSI of footballs in January launched “DeflateGate” into a full-blown national scandal, it’s safe to question whether perhaps the growingly icy relationship between the network and the team prompted this new investigation.

Now, the modern 24/7 news cycle being what it is, many folks ran with the new ESPN story as if it was a bombshell, one full of incredible new facts and details about the NFL scandal from eight years ago

Judge Nullifies Tom Brady's 4 Game DeflateGate Suspension

Tom Brady's four-game suspension from the NFL for his role in DeflateGate has been nullified. In May, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell handed down the punishment, which Brady officially appealed last month. Although Goodell was the arbitrator for the appeal, he changed his original ruling and has now decided that the quarterback presented sufficient evidence to reduce his punishment for allegedly having knowledge that Patriots staff deflated footballs ahead of the AFC Championship against the Indianapolis Colts.

Goodell previously claimed that the only way Brady would be able to get his suspension reduced or eliminated was if he provided new information -- specifically, information that Brady initially did not provide to the Wells investigation, such as text and phone records. It's unclear yet if Brady did present new information, or if there were other factors at play.

UPDATE: There has been no word regarding the Million Dollar Fine or Loss of Future Draft Picks Previously Imposed Against the New England Patriots. Roger Goodell is said to be Crying his Bawl Baby Eyes Out and Remains Unconsolable.
